Medical Uses. SympleSeal can be used in the medical profession wherever there is
a need to seal a container or enhance a seal between a cap or lid and its container.
Kit
/ Package Use. Unlike plastic wrap on a roll, SympleSeal can be easily incorporated in kits or packages with other
components for use in medical treatment. For example, a SympleSeal having antimicrobial properties may accompany a flask
or canister for use with the flask or canister.
Sterilization. Because SympleSeal can be individually packaged, it
can come in a sterile state, unlike plastic wrap that comes on a roll. Thus, SympleSeal opens up whole new medical uses for
plastic wrap that weren't available before, such as sealing a container holding a sample for testing where
absence of contamination is imperative.
Microbe Killer. SympleSeal can be configured with multiple materials and
surface coatings. Thus, a SympleSeal device may have an anti-microbial coating on the interior portion of the device that covers
and seals the container. This could provide enhanced protection in cases where harmful microbes are present within the
container.
Permanent Seal. Because SympleSeal can be configured with multiple materials and surface coatings, a SympleSeal
may also have an adhesive coating on the exterior portion of the device that sticks to the sides of the container. Thus, the
seal produced by SympleSeal can be extremely effective and permanent where desired.
Resilient Seal. SympleSeal may
also be configured with multiple thicknesses of materials and different types of materials. Thus, a SympleSeal device
may have thicker material (or a different stronger material) on the interior portion that covers the container to
protect its contents, while having thinner material on the exterior portion to permit sealing to the sides of the container.
And
more! The above are just some of the potential uses for SympleSeal in the medical profession.
The Medical Market
Because
the many potential uses for SympleSeal in the medical profession, it's hard to limit the potential markets for uses in such markets.
